Le Roy Twitter suspended over music copyright claim
UPDATE, 8:30 a.m.: Le Roy Junior-Senior High School's Twitter account has been restored one week after the account had been suspended by the social media company.The account, @LeRoy_Knights, was restored Thursday, said High School Principal Tim McArdle.The account, which frequently posts videos, photos and other updates regarding the junior-senior high school and its student body, had inactive for a week after a music copyright claim had been made for a Sept. 5, 2018, that included music that was protected by copyright. Visitors to the Twitter account saw a message from Twitter indicating the account had been suspended, but did not provide an explanation for the action.Twitter has not responded to requests for comment from The Daily News.Le Roy's Twitter account was created in 2013 and had more than 15,000 posts.
