18 year-old former JV football coach arrested for sexual misconduct | Idaho

LEWISTON – Ty Lewis, 18, who was previously associated with the Lewiston High School J.V. Football team, is now facing additional charges for alleged inappropriate conduct involving students. Lewis was arrested in February regarding inappropriate communication with a student.  According to court records, search warrants were obtained for Lewis’ cellphone and Snapchat accounts.  Lewis admitted to soliciting two players for photos over Snapchat.  He admitted to sending them pornographic videos. Investigators said Lewis was gaining access to, and power over, these students and found a clear grooming pattern.  Lewis is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation with a child and two counts of sexual abuse of a child under 16, taking place been September 2025 and February 2026. Investigators believe there may be more victims.  Lewis was transported to the Nez Perce County jail where he is being held on a $500,000 bond.
