Laquantavious Perry, 26, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Nicole Young, 43, was arrested Wednesday and charged with accessory after the fact in that case. Laquantavious Perry Nicole Young At about 2:09 a.m. March 24, officers responded to reports of a shooting near an apartment complex at the 2200 block of Eighth Avenue South, a press release issued Tuesday said. After interviewing several witnesses, officers determined Perry to be a person of interest in the alleged shooting between Perry and another individual who escaped unharmed, Public Information Officer Bryan Moore told The Dispatch. Investigators also collected evidence at the scene that made Perry their prime suspect, though Moore did not specify the evidence that investigators collected.
