2027 commitments: 119 prospects with plans to play in college

(Kyle Prudhomme/NEBJ) We are in peak recruiting season, with college coaches currently pursuing prospects in two classes — the ’27s and ’28s. College coaches have spent the month of July securing college commitments from ’27s in an effort to prepare for the Aug. 1 deadline, when they can begin communicating with ’28s. As a result, we have highlighted 30 college commitments for ’27 prospects in the last two weeks. Bishop Hendricken (R.I.) has the most ’27 commits of any high school or prep program in New England with six. Belmont Hill (Mass.), Trinity High (N.H.), Winchendon (Mass.), and Canterbury School (Conn.) have four each. North East Baseball (NEB) has the most commits of any travel ball team with 13. GBG Northeast and MVP New England have seven commits each. Baseball U CT, Boston Prime, and Clubhouse Evoshield have six each. Stonehill has more New England commits than any other college program with eight. Northeastern and Brown have six each. Williams College has the most among D3 programs with five.
