A teacher at an Indianapolis school was arrested Wednesday amid an investigation into allegations that he “had engaged in sexual conversation with a female child.” INDIANAPOLIS — A teacher at an Indianapolis school was arrested on Wednesday, June 3 during an investigation into allegations that he “had engaged in sexual conversation with a female child and forwarded sexually explicit images.” According to a press release from Indiana State Police, the investigation began in May 2026 when the Elizabethton (Tennessee) Police Department notified Indiana’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of an investigation into the alleged dissemination of harmful matter to a minor. The allegations said the man used Snapchat for “conversations of a sexual nature” with a child, according to an ISP spokesperson. Investigators said their suspect — a 24-year-old man — lives in Bloomington and is a teacher at an Indianapolis school. The spokesperson did not identify the school.
