(KAKE) – A Wichita woman posted a video on social media showing a non-verbal special needs student in the shower, according to a court affidavit.The affidavit says Taylor Flowers was an employee at Heartspring, a residential school for children with disabilities in northeast Wichita, on Nov. 17, 2020 when she took a video of a 17-year-old girl as she was in the shower. The video was posted on Flower’s Snapchat story. Another Heartspring employee saw the video and alerted authorities, according to the affidavit. Flowers was interviewed last December and admitted to filming the girl, but said she did so only after she had received a picture of a different student on the toilet from another Heartspring employee. Flowers told detectives she “knew it wasn’t right” and intended to tell supervisors of the photo the other employee took of the student, but instead filmed her own video.
