Stephen R Cloutier KINGFIELD, ME. – On Saturday afternoon, the UVM Alpine team wrapped up their portion of the Colby Carnival in Kingfield, Maine from Sugarloaf Mountain with day two of competition. The Catamounts competed in the GS with an overall finish of third place and a weekend total of 309.5 points. Dartmouth leads the way with 456 total points followed by New Hampshire with 381.5 total points. RELATED LINKS Day 2 Results (Alpine) The UVM men’s Alpine team wrapped up their portion of the GS event with 75.5 points, ranking them fifth among other schools. Three skiers placed in the top 20 finishers. Gray Flanagan finished 14th with a two-run time of 2:10:99 to cap off his first Carnival with the Catamounts, a team high finish on the men’s side. Magnus Berge Styren finished 17th with a two-run time of 2:11:64, a season best finish thus far. Sebastian Weiss finished 20th with a two-run time of 2:12:21. Oskar Gillberg finished 34th with a two-run time of 2:14:99. The UVM women’s Alpine team rounded off the day with 57 points and sixth among other schools.
