New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan returned to social media Thursday, breaking his silence on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, with poetry and Vijay Deenanath Chauhan’s Agneepath line. The actor put out a long post on X in Hindi describing the horror of one of the Pahalgam victims. In an apparent show of solidarity with the victims, the Bollywood superstar had been sharing blank tweets on X and blank posts on his blog since 22 April. The actor mentioned Manjunath Rao, a businessman from Karnataka’s Shivamogga, who was on vacation in Kashmir with his wife and son. Rao was one of the 26 people gunned down by terrorists on the fateful day at Pahalgam. “His wife fell at his feet and said do not kill him .. but he mercilessly shot him, and made the wife a widow in front of her eyes .. the wife then begged this monster, this demon, to kill her also .. this devil of a man said: ‘I won’t kill you .. you go and tell Modi’ ..!!” wrote the actor.
