It has around 22,000 followers as of Wednesday, but the web developer who created the account almost shut it down.31% of adults in Iowa have had one COVID-19 shot or more. That number was 27% last week. It’s not just the supply increasing. Iowans over 65 without computer access can pull out their cell phone, make a call to 211 and get help scheduling an appointment. But, now they’re competing with a new, younger, group of people with their own set of tools.Brian Finley, who created an automated account that tweets when new vaccine appointments are available at a Hy-Vee, CVS, or Walgreens, created one of those tools.
