Area churches will celebrate Holy Week with in-person, online, television, and drive-in style options. From the Greater Bay Area Ministerium: There will be no community wide Good Friday service or Easter Sunrise service traditionally held at the Belfast Boathouse sponsored by the Greater Bay Area Ministerium, due to the Covid virus and recent increase in cases in Waldo County. Following is a listing of what some of the area churches are doing for Holy Week. St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church Maundy Thursday service will be a Zoom service at 7 p.m. Good Friday will also be a Zoom service at 7 p.m. People can call or email the church office to obtain a link to the services. Easter Eve with Vigil fire will be held outside at 7 p.m. (weather permitting) or inside via Zoom. Easter Sunday service will be via Zoom, at 9:30 a.m., and will include the baptism of a child.
