A Lockesburg probationer was arrested Wednesday morning for his alleged role in an armed robbery in Hot Springs last month after reportedly being identified through Snapchat photos and AI software. Jonathon Earl Stewart Gonzalez, 26, was taken into custody around 11 a.m. at the Sevier County probation office while meeting with his probation officer and served with the warrant for a felony count of aggravated robbery, punishable by up to life in prison. He was transported to Hot Springs, where he was booked into the detention center shortly before 1:30 p.m. Gonzalez remained in custody Thursday on zero bond and is set to appear today in Garland County District Court. According to court records, he was convicted in 2020 of breaking or entering, theft of property and possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to six years in prison, but was later paroled; and on March 12, 2024, of felony fleeing and sentenced to six years’ probation, all in Sevier County.
