BERNVILLE, Pa. – Bernville mayor Shawn Raup-Konsavage is once again in the spotlight for comments on his social media page after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The post read: “This is what MAGA represents, This is what Trump lowered flags for. If this represents you then I don’t want to hear that you are offended that I’m glad he is gone” and included a clip of Kirk. The post has gained a lot of attention online. This isn’t the first time he made a controversial post. After the assassination attempt of President Trump in western Pennsylvania in July of 2024, he posted “Try harder.” “That Trump post that he had posted there was a lot of controversy with that in this town, a lot of hatred towards him after that,” said Mark Rodriguez, who lives in Bernville.
