It crawls, it creeps, it eats you alive! The 1958 cult classic “The Blob” starring Steve McQueen will celebrate its 21st year at the very theater the movie was filmed when The Colonial Theater (in Phoenixville) hosts ‘Blobfest House of Harris.’ The iconic movie house is home to the famous Blob run-out scene. The festivities will take place July 9-11 with another virtual version of the event that normally runs up and down Bridge St. But this year’s theme does make things a bit different than last year. “We don’t want to put ‘virtual’ on another t-shirt,” says Bob Trate, marketing director at The Colonial Theater.
