Caputo’s Facebook posts draw complaints to integrity commissioner – Sault Ste. Marie News

Recent social media activity by Ward 3 Coun. Angela Caputo has resulted in multiple complaints to the city’s integrity commissioner. “I have been notified by the integrity commissioner that complaints have been filed in regards to my Facebook post regarding Charlie Kirk,” Caputo confirmed to SooToday tonight. Caputo said she was advised of the complaints on Monday, Sept. 22. They followed this controversial post she made following the assassination of Kirk, a right-wing activist, on Sept. 10 in Orem, Utah: If you’re now using your voice to advocate for Charlie Kirk (and ladies, if that’s you, just know he would NEVER advocate for you and actually thought you were part of the world’s problems if you worked outside of the home) and have never used it to speak out against any other type of gun violence or injustice, you’re not speaking up for injustice, you’re speaking for white supremacy, misogyny and racism.
