TODAY cohost Carson Daley speaks fluent “teen” with his daughter Etta … which literally means that they often don’t speak at all. When he sat in for co-host Sheinelle Jones on the May 18 broadcast of TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle, Carson told Jenna Bush Hager that his 13-year-old, “who I never speak with,” is “doing great.” He asked everyone in Studio 1A, “Do you guys speak 13-year-old? ‘Cause I don’t.” Etta is the second oldest of Carson’s four children. He continued later, “You ever hear that phrase, ‘You’ve got to meet kids where they are’?
