ST. ALBANS, Vt. – Behind first place finishers Siena Stanley and Tommy Wolfe , Vermont rolled to a pair of wins against UMass Lowell to begin the 2025 season. The top seven finishers in the women’s race were all Catamounts as they won with 15 points. Eight of the top 10 finishers in the men’s competition represented Vermont in a season opening victory with 19 points. Looking forward to the training period we have coming up before Dartmouth.” HOW IT HAPPENED Bristol, Vt. native Stanley posted a winning time of 18:12.50 in the 5K to open the day in the women’s race. At the first split Caroline Deiss held the lead and closely followed Stanley across the finish line at 18:20.30 in second. Alex Beal completed the top three finishing in 18:36.00.
