Cincinnati and Bowling Green traded opportunities throughout the match, but neither team was able to convert. The Bearcats finished with five shots, four on goal and two corner kicks, while BGSU recorded four shots, two on goal and four corner kicks. Transfers Amber Branum and Katelyn Jamie made their Bearcat debuts in the match. The Bearcats created a trio of scoring opportunities in the first half.
