Harry Kane completed a clean sweep of Player of the Season awards and Heung-Min Son picked up Goal of the Season as our awards for 2022/23 were presented after our final home match of the campaign against Brentford on Saturday. Harry was named Player of the Season by One Hotspur Members, One Hotspur Junior Members and our Official Supporters’ Clubs, recognition of a campaign where he achieved the double milestone of becoming the Club’s and England’s all-time record goalscorer. In February, the striker’s winner against champions Manchester City took him past Jimmy Greaves’ total of 266, a record that had stood since 1970. A month later, he overtook Wayne Rooney to top England’s leading goalscorer chart. He’s now on 278 goals in 434 appearances for Spurs and has 55 goals in his 82 England caps. Records and milestones have tumbled for the Academy graduate and current skipper this season – another followed on Saturday, when he became the first player to score in 25 different matches in a Premier League season.
