Nothing gets past Conor McGregor, especially a Facebook tough guy who got his ass handed to him Saturday night (Aug. 2, 2025) at BKFC 79 in Sturgis, South Dakota. Saturday was a day of reckoning for cocky fighters and that included BKFC Sturgis. It happened in a “Prelims” matchup between Cody Kerr and Dillon Blaydon. Apparently, Blaydon had talked a ton of trash and sent threats on Facebook leading up to the fight, only to flounder in the opening moments of the first round. Kerr won the bad blood matchup with a vicious knockout sequence and then proceeded to go off during his post-fight interview. He brought up the Facebook beef, which prompted McGregor to take to social media and offer his two cents. McGregor, who is part-owner of BKFC, was not in attendance for another Sturgis takeover, but the former UFC champion was watching from afar.
