(Somerset Police Department) SOMERSET, Mass. (WJAR) — Somerset police said Tuesday that they arrested a man who is accused of child enticement. According to police, an investigation began in late January after receiving a report that Michael Gallo, 33, of Cranston, had been sending lewd images, videos and messages to a juvenile through Snapchat. Police said Gallo had told the victim that he was 22 years old. The juvenile victim told Gallo their real age, making Gallo aware that he was communicating with a juvenile under 14 years old. ALSO READ: Pawtucket police search for suspect in deadly stabbing Officials said on Sunday, Gallo went to a predetermined location in Somerset believing he was meeting the juvenile. Somerset police arrested him there, charging him with distributing obscene matter to a minor, two counts of enticement of a child under 16, and accosting/annoying another person. According to police, he was arraigned in Fall River District Court on Monday. He was held on $25,000 bail, police said.
