BirminghamLive readers have reacted with ‘shock’ and ‘disbelief’ after Leanne Webb was sentenced to four years after she was convicted of seriously injuring the 28-year-old and her 18-month-old toddler. Birmingham Crown Court heard that deceitful Webb was driving her high-powered Audi SQ5 at more than 100mph on Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, when she crashed on May 8, 2019. The mum suffered life-changing injuries and will never recover, West Midlands Police said. Her daughter also suffered serious injuries but has fortunately made a full recovery. Webb, of Wychall Lane, Kings Norton, maintained throughout the investigation that she was not at fault and ultimately blamed the other driver for causing the collision by turning across the £50,000 motor’s path.
