ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – The Escambia County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook site that it has closed a drug house, seized drugs and cash, and made an arrest Friday on Doris Avenue. From Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page (From Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page) Here is part of the post: On July 24, 2026, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the SWAT Team, served a search warrant at 8505 Doris Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search, investigators seized: – Approximately 1,006.5 grams of methamphetamine – 14.5 grams of cocaine – 51 grams of alprazolam pills – 5.5 grams of oxycodone pills – 0.5 grams of fentanyl – 3 grams of tramadol pills – 28.5 grams of marijuana – $5,364 in U.S. currency Suspect Kelvin Crenshaw was arrested and charged with: Trafficking in Methamphetamine Possession of Cocaine, Alprazolam, and Marijuana with Intent to Sell/Manufacture/Deliver Possession of Tramadol, Fentanyl, and Oxycodone Without a Prescription Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Every arrest like this removes dangerous narcotics from our neighborhoods and helps make Escambia County a safer place to live.
