EXETER — A man accused of sending a 15-year-old girl pictures of himself naked and soliciting her for sex has pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a year in jail.Anthony Shaw, 19, of Exeter, pleaded guilty in Rockingham Superior Court to two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure as part of a negotiated plea deal with prosecutors. A judge handed down a 12-month sentence, with four months suspended for five years, and credit for 144 days served on one of the indecent exposure charges. The sentence for the other indecent exposure charge was a deferred conviction, meaning it can be brought forward if Shaw commits a “triggering offense.”Shaw received two consecutive suspended 12-month sentences on each of the endangering the welfare of a child charges that he will have to serve if he violates probation during a two- to five-year period. Shaw was arrested by Exeter police March 18.
