New tonight, Bentonville School District is taking action after the FBI announced it’s investigating students from multiple schools in Washington, Benton and Madison counties for possessing and sharing child pornography. Bentonville schools will be hosting a luncheon with parents and students starting next week to discuss the issue with parents. The Bentonville School District did not confirm if Bentonville students are being investigated for sharing harmful photos. The spokesperson for the FBI, Connor Hagan, said this has become a disturbing trend.“These high school students need to realize they might not have their license yet, and they are putting themselves in a position where they may not get out of prison until their 30s or 40s,” Connor Hagan, Public Affairs Officer for FBI in Little Rock said.
