In that defeat, Jayce Freeman totaled 220 yards, including a 95-yard kick return touchdown — Stony Brook’s first kick return touchdown since Sherman Alston in 2016 (at Richmond). This will be the 11th meeting between the two programs, with Towson leading the overall series 6-4.
