Marco Ochoa EUGENE, Ore. – Four members of the UTSA track & field team have qualified to compete this week at historic Hayward Field in the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Taking on the field of nationally elite performers in Eugene are Ida Breigan (long jump), Martín Kouyoumdjian (400-meter), Jemuel Miller (triple jump) and Daisy Monie (shot put). Competition for the Roadrunners is slated from June 10-12. Field events will be directly streamed on ESPN+ with telecasts of the main meet on ESPN and ESPN2. The traditional meet format for NCAA Championships continues this season with the men competing on the first and third day, while the women will go on the second and fourth. Opening UTSA’s action at nationals, Santiago, Chile junior Kouyoumdjian is set for the 400m, beginning with the semifinal at 8:41 p.m. CT (6:41 p.m. PT) on Wednesday, June 10. Kouyoumdjian finished fourth in the event at the American Outdoor Championships and went on to notch the second-fastest UTSA time in program history and the Chilean National Record in finishing seventh at the NCAA West First Round in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Nine quarter-milers will advance to Friday’s 8:02 p.m. CT (6:02 p.m. PT)
