Fox-owned AVoD platform Tubi has named former Vimeo boss Anjali Sud as its new CEO following the departure of founder and former CEO Farhad Massoudi earlier this year.Anjali SudSud will assume her new role on September 1, reporting to Paul Cheesbrough, CEO of Tubi Media Group.Sud joined Vimeo in 2014 as director of marketing and worked her way up the ladder with roles including senior VP, head of global marketing and general manager, creator platform, before being named CEO in 2017. She previously held finance, media and e-commerce roles at Time Warner and Amazon.The exec arrives at Tubi as the platform rides a wave of momentum, having recently become the most watched free, ad-supported streaming service in the US, ahead of platforms including PlutoTV, Peacock and HBO Max.
