LEWES, Del. – Friends of the Lewes Public Library will be holding a “Beach Reads” book sale at the library on April 25 from 3 to 8 p.m. and April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Friends of Lewes Public Library says the book sale will feature over 5,000 different titles representing a diverse selection of genres from sci-fi to adult fiction to audiobooks and more for people to read and enjoy while soaking in the sun along the coast.Proceeds from the book sale will go to benefit the Lewes Pubic Library.“Our book sales are a don’t-miss for residents and visitors alike, and first-timers are always astonished at the number of books, as well as the fact that they are in such good condition,” said Candace Vessella, President of the Friends of the Lewes Public Library.In addition, Friends says that the Just Between Friends Shop will be open as well, stocked with a variety of Lewes themed items.Admission to the sale is free and all are welcome, with credit cards being accepted for purchases over $10.
