COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball received its 2026-27 conference schedule from the Southeastern Conference today. The five-time reigning SEC Champion Gamecocks will host four of the league’s top-25 finishers last season and travel to four such teams as well, including Oklahoma, which they will play both at home and on the road. South Carolina will host Alabama in the league opener for the second-straight season with this season’s matchup coming on New Year’s Eve instead of New Year’s Day. The Gamecocks will go on the road for their next two, beginning with a trip to Final Four participant Texas (Jan. 3). After a Thursday trip to Mississippi State (Jan. 7), South Carolina will welcome Arkansas (Jan. 10) and Oklahoma (Jan. 14) to Colonial Life Arena. The Gamecocks will split the next two weeks of home and away games, traveling to Missouri (Jan. 17) and Tennessee (Jan. 28) between hosting Florida (Jan. 21) and top-20 finisher Kentucky (Jan. 31).
