Gamecocks Host Hokies for Senior Day Saturday – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina swimming and diving team welcomes Virginia Tech to the Carolina Natatorium for its final home meet of the season on Saturday morning. Events will kick off at 10 a.m. and live results will be available on the subscription-based Meet Mobile platform. The program will honor 17 seniors before the meet commences. Charley Bayer, Quinn Buck, Jack Carman, Michael Cooper, Harvey Freeman, Gage Hulbert, Kyle Korvick and Eldor Usomonov will represent the men’s program, while Jordan Agliano, Makayla Ciancanelli, Breckin Gormley, Meaghan Harnish, Caroline Kudela, Meg Maholic, Amy Riordan, Dylan Scholes and Sophie Verzyl make up the women’s graduating class. // LAST TIME OUT The Gamecocks picked up nine new pool records and a sweeping victory over the Royals. The women’s relay team of Riordan, Alexis Dalton, Taylor Grimley and Sofia Luper started the meet off with a pool record in the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:37.84. They picked up the event win as well. Emma Reiser kept the records rolling in the 1000 freestyle, clocking a 9:47.73 for the event win and pool record. Nora Fluck took second with a 9:51.90.
