Gamelancer Media Corp. (CSE:GMNG, OTCQB:GAMGF) said its first quarter Snapchat revenue exceeded management’s guidance by 14%, with the company highlighting that this was all the more noteworthy given that the first quarter is typically a period of lower ad spend in the media industry. The company achieved Snapchat revenue of nearly C$621,800, above its guidance of around C$543,000 in the first three months of 2023. The company also released its full-year 2022 financial results, posting total revenue of $3.5 million, up 1806% from $186,919 in the previous fiscal year. Its net loss was $10.7 million, up from $9.6 million in fiscal 2021, which the company said included expenses related to its growth initiatives, such as the acquisition of JoyBox Media and Gamelancer Inc in the second quarter by Wondr Gaming, which rebranded as Gamelancer Media Corp.
