Giants middle linebacker Blake Martinez was a breakthrough COVID-19 case. He caught the virus despite being fully vaccinated, which sidelined him from training camp … until his first practice on Tuesday. “Yeah, I’m fully vaccinated,” Martinez said. “[It was] just like, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ … Every person I hung around was fully vaccinated, things like that, and it just happened.” Martinez, 27, experienced symptoms and said “it was definitely scary,” especially because he has a young daughter.
