GLADEWATER, Texas — The Gladewater Police Department is investigating a report of criminal trespassing after a group of people allegedly entered a lake house without permission for a party organized through social media. The incident occurred Saturday, July 19, at an unoccupied residence in the 1600 block of East Lake Dr. Investigators say the property owner did not authorize the gathering and was unaware the home would be used. According to police, multiple people told investigators they were invited to the party via Snapchat. Two minors were detained and referred to Upshur County juvenile probation. Detectives are working to identify additional suspects. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Lt. Freddie Fitzgerald or Sgt.
