The government is planning to launch a WhatsApp chatbot that will help the citizens understand their queries regarding the COVID-19 vaccination. An official informed that the algorithms have been completed. However, they are awaiting to identify the maximum number of possible queries before the final launch of the chatbox. This initiative will help people get information about their nearest locations from where they can avail the vaccine, the number of doses required, and when they will need to be administered. Once the chatbox is launched, citizens can send their queries on the number 9013151515 with the message “say vaccine”. Besides, it will be linked with the Co-WIN app which will provide real-time data to individuals. Presently, the project is at the pilot stage and is being used to respond to frequently asked questions (FAQ) regarding the vaccination.
