GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – A Grand Island man is facing human trafficking of a minor and enticement charges out of Hall County.Kevin Martinez Ramirez, 23, has seven counts against him. Those are two counts of felony human trafficking of a minor, felony use of an electronic communication device to commit sexual assault, two counts of felony enticement of electronic communication device and two misdemeanor charges of distributing obscene literature and material to a minor.According to the arrest affidavit, the investigation started when Martinez Ramirez reportedly purchased alcohol for a 15-year-old girl in Kearney. Police say that Martinez Ramirez’s probation officer was notified, searching his phone and finding what she believed was child pornography.The phone was turned over to police. GIPD said in the affidavit that even though his phone was seized, he reportedly purchased a new one and created new Snapchat accounts and continued to contact underage girls both on the phone and in person while the investigation was ongoing.Police have identified four victims, who were between the ages of 14 and 17.The affidavit said in May 2023 Martinez Ramirez contacted a 17-year-old girl.
