Hendrix College gets online spotlight from Twitch star Kai Cenat’s Streamer University

Kai Cenat, the world’s most-subscribed Twitch streamer, is holding Streamer University in Conway. More than 120 content creators are looking for their big break at the event, which began Wednesday at Hendrix College and continues through Monday. Streamer University’s appearance at Hendrix College marks the program’s second event, following its inaugural session at the University of Akron in May 2025. Participants live on campus and attend classes for content creation. They are not allowed to leave the premises during the event, but they stream regularly. Cenat has more than 20 million followers on Twitch.tv, a livestreaming service on which creators broadcast live content and viewers interact in real time. He gained popularity through streams of video games, viral challenges and celebrity guests, such as professional wrestler John Cena, comedian Kevin Hart, and media personality and businesswoman Kim Kardashian.
