They were even better thanks to a come-from-behind 5-3 win over the Washington Nationals on Sunday, giving the Yankees a four-game winning streak after they looked lost, limp and lifeless less than a week ago. “Nothing is better than a comeback win,” first baseman Ben Rice said. He was grinning from ear to ear. “There’s a lot of outside noise,” starting pitcher Will Warren said, “but collectively as a group in here, I feel like we’re in a good spot.” He was standing in front of his locker, cool and calm. “Look,” manager Aaron Boone said, “we talk about it all the time: There are going to be highs and lows.” He was reclining in a chair in the manager’s office.
