This edition is all about fresh starts, citing as inspiration that back-to-school vibe so ingrained in us as a time for reinvention. Also prevalent in the e-zine: bright colors, the “Gorpcore” aesthetic (an ode to life on the nature trail), and the arrival of fashion month. Of the styles trending on the app, the first—which the issue has dubbed “C’Mon Get Happy”—is all about bright color and kitsch, building off the summer camp trend that was so hot this season. Jewelers may take note of this popular style by ensuring they have plenty of enamel jewelry in stock, particularly in bold, and even neon, colors. Another surprising trend is “Retro Western,” where authentic cowboy boots, hats, and fringe jackets are making waves among the Instagram set.
