IOWA CITY, IA (KWQC) – Getting a vaccine has proven to be a challenge for many. One Iowa man is making the process a little easier with a Twitter page. Brian Finley, an Iowa City web developer, felt the frustration when trying to sign up for a vaccine.“Just like everybody else I was trying to find a vaccine for me and my family. I became eligible when they opened up the criteria on the eighth so trying to find a vaccine that everyone has had trouble with, I had the same kind of trouble,” says Finley.So the web developer used his skills and got creative.“I dug into the code on the Hy-Vee website and as well as what other web developers that had come up with for information nationwide and I was able to find a way to search the entire state at once,” says Finley.He then decided to help fellow Iowans get connected to appointments with a Twitter page.
