Israeli diplomats added to Iranian WhatsApp groups: ‘Vigilance required’ – Ynetnews

Foreign Ministry employees and Israeli diplomats have been added to WhatsApp groups operated from Iran and other hostile countries. The Foreign Ministry’s security officer warned employees: “Recently, there have been reports of people being added to WhatsApp groups, not through their contacts. These are groups created and managed by our adversaries from phone numbers in Iran, Pakistan and elsewhere. Therefore, vigilance is required regarding the groups you join or are added to, and you should change your settings so that you can only be added to groups by contacts saved in your phone.”
