Jevon Thoresen, Board of Directors Jevon Thoresen Jevon Thoresen is a mission-driven executive leader dedicated to advancing economic equity, inclusive employment, and pathways to opportunity. He serves as a Director at the Corporate Coalition of Chicago, where he leads the Workplace Flex Fund and Hire Chicago initiatives and guides the Coalition’s work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and workforce equity – ensuring that workers most at risk of being left behind benefit from emerging technologies. Jevon brings more than two decades of experience transforming talent practices and expanding access to opportunity. During his nine years at LinkedIn, he led global teams responsible for helping employers build more equitable hiring, learning, and development systems. As a leader on LinkedIn’s Equity Product team, he helped shape AI-enabled tools designed to reduce bias and strengthen fair, skills-based pathways for job seekers. A champion for representation and belonging, Jevon co-led LinkedIn’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council, driving initiatives that helped to triple Black leadership representation, increased Latino leadership representation, and improved overall employee belonging scores. He also oversaw LinkedIn’s partnership with Urban Alliance in Chicago, supporting high school students from under-resourced communities through mentorship, skills development, and college and career readiness programming.
