(WKRC) — A Kentucky middle school teacher was re-indicted on a grooming charge this week after the previous charge had been dropped earlier in September. Per WDRB+WAVE, 25-year-old Sadie Flores, a teacher at Graves County Middle School in Mayfield, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with one of her students, as well as deleting Snapchat messages between herself and the alleged victim from her phone. She was initially charged with grooming in August under a new law that took effect in July, but a judge dismissed the case on Sept. 9, citing improper evidence. “After a nearly 2 hour hearing on September 9–including the presentation of the most damning evidence the lead detective had–the district court judge concluded that there was not enough evidence to proceed with the case and therefore properly dismissed it.
