Veronika Kudermetova dealt defending champion Cirstea her first loss with a clean and controlled performance. The third-seeded Kudermetova will play for her second career title in tomorrow’s final against world No. 122 Anastasia Potapova. Earlier, qualifier Potapova broke three times in a row closing out a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 triumph over 51st-ranked Yulia Putintseva. Potapova is through to her third career final and will play for a maiden Tour-level title against 2021 Charleston champion Kudermetova.
