Lancaster County man arrested after threatening to kill police on Facebook, police say

A Lancaster County man is charged with threatening to shoot and kill police officers after making threats in a video he posted on Facebook. East Lampeter Township police say 38-year-old Anthony Tsoflias uploaded the clip last Friday. WellSpan Public Safety reported the video to police after monitoring Tsoflias’ social media activity. Charging documents show Tsoflias was a patient at WellSpan and also threatened a doctor and other staff on Facebook. “Enough people know who I am. I could go home, grab my gun, walk down to East Lampeter Township, shoot as many cops as I want dead, go to state patrol Lincoln High, shoot as many cops as I want,” Tsoflias said in the video. Tsoflias continues to name an East Lampeter Township police detective, saying he would shoot them and then walk home and lie in bed. Tsoflias is in police custody. Police did not reveal a motive, but back in April, the department charged him with harassment.
