Hasan, the editor-in-chief and CEO of new media company Zeteo, was featured as a progressive in an episode released over the weekend on Jubilee’s “Surrounded,” a recurring series on the YouTube channel. The video was divided into segments by claims made by Hasan. He had to defend his statement, while conservatives had the chance to poke holes in his argument. Hasan made several accusations against President Donald Trump, including that he is “pro-crime” and “pro-criminal,” he defies the Constitution, and his plan in Gaza should be seen as ethnic cleansing. He also argued that immigrants are overall good for America. When asked about by a conservative about what makes a person “pro-crime” versus “anti-crime,” Hasan said that “pro-criminal” could describe someone who is “soft” on criminals, such as letting criminals leave prison or pardoning individuals who assaulted police officers.
