Following the journalists’ report, the company officially confirmed that it is testing new tools to combat low-quality AI-generated content. Recently, a new option called “seems like AI slop” (“looks like AI junk” or “looks like low-quality AI content”) has appeared in the menu for each post (the three dots). Clicking this option is not public—other users won’t know about it. The complaint is sent only to LinkedIn. Once a complaint is submitted, the post disappears from the user’s feed, and LinkedIn uses these signals to train its moderation systems.
