Since the game’s initial announcement, the Overwatch 2 PvE mode has been the sequel’s main selling point as Overwatch was exclusively a competitive online hero shooter with some limited-time events serving as the PvE option. During a recent Twitch stream with Emongg, Flats, and Seagull, executive producer Jared Neuss was revealed some intriguing details when asked about Overwatch’s PvE plans. “Not ‘Blizzard soon’. Jared soon,” the producer explained. “Which is a different thing. It’s sooner. We are currently planning the time when we’re going to talk about it, which will be soon. And I actually do mean soon,” he added.
