Viewer discretion is advised.*** (TNND) — A sergeant with the Boston Police Department is facing several charges, including the aggravated rape of a 14-year-old boy he allegedly met on a dating app. Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said Paul Downey, 58, became acquainted with the teenager on March 26 on Grindr, according to WCVB. Per the media outlet, Hayden said the two then communicated on Snapchat, which is a social media app, where they talked about “the boy performing a sexual act for $30.” They later linked up in a parking lot. Something similar happened on May 11 with the same teen, who was offered $80 for another meetup involving sexual intercourse near the same parking lot near the South Bay mall,” WCVB reported, citing the the district attorney’s office.
