Luzerne County teen charged with plotting murder via Snapchat – WJAC

(WOLF) — A Luzerne County teenager is accused of plotting over social media to kill several people. The Plymouth Borough Police Department on Monday announced that officers were alerted to an 18-year-old male who had allegedly been messaging a 13-year-old boy on Snapchat “in an attempt to formulate a plan to kill people.” Riley Young was taken into custody after an investigation. Police stated there is no significant threat and no apparent means to carry out the threats. Young was charged with criminal use of a communication facility and corruption of minors. He was arraigned on the charges and bail was set at $25,000.
