Malvern Town HDAnywhere Community Stadium planning proposal – Ledbury Reporter

FOOTBALL fans will no longer have to stand in the rain as Malvern Town reveal plans for a major new stand. The Hillsiders have put in a planning application, including a brand new covered terrace for over 200 supporters, improvements to the decking area and increased inclusivity for all visitors of the HDAnywhere Community Stadium. The plans come about in accordance with Malvern’s impressive performance in the Southern League Division One South last season, where they made it to the play-off final, coming within inches of promotion before agonisingly losing 1-0 to Worcestershire rivals Evesham United. Attendances grew alongside the performances and Malvern find themselves in a strong position again eight games into the 2025/26 campaign – sat in the play-off positions at the time of writing. Malvern Town chair Chris Pinder explained: “I think the trigger was our attendances have got to the level where it’s just not fair for people to stand out in the rain. “Now we are nearing completion with the car park facilities, we want to elevate the rest of the ground.” The application has been planned specifically to allow Town to pass ground grading for higher-division football, should they be successful in going up.
